Scripture Central: Scripture Reader
Goal: Improve the scripture reader to facilitate a deeper, self-exploratory reading experience.
Main Problems: Main text is difficult to read for long periods of time.
Lacks interconnectivity with Scriptures Central’s extensive library of resources.
Lacks in depth note taking tools.
Research: Other scripture reading apps & websites (eg. LDS.org)
News websites with long form reading (eg. Washington Post)
Book websites & Apps with long form reading (eg. Kindle)
Solution: I updated the main text formatting to make it easier to read. I created a side-bar system that links directly back into the text and links to other resources. Created a system to mark the text and save different types of citations, in a journal-like experience. Created the experience for web viewing along with mobile.
